Cycle Style by Horst A. Friedrichs

by - August 11, 2012

London-based photojournalist Horst A. Friedrichs captures his subjects while zipping around the city on a bicycle - just like they do. In the recently released Cycle Style (Prestel), Friedrichs, who has worked for The New York Times, The Independent, and Der Spiegel, documents riders of all ages expressing their individuality. From a young, pretty blonde in silver aviators, skinny jeans, and peep-toe booties to a rather handsomely disheveled Paul Smith (designer) shown wearing a velvet blazer and driving loafers, Freidrichs proves that just because you’re peddling around on two wheels doesn’t mean you have to sacrifice an ounce of style. Jaunty wicker basket included. - Nandita Khanna
